The Book of Lists Title: The Book of Lists
Author: James Buckley, Jr., and Robert Stremme
Publisher: Scholastic inc.
Number of pages: 320

Have you ever wondered were else pyramids were built besides Egypt? Or maybe how deep the oceans are. Is there really a town called Ding-Dong or Lollypop Land? Who are some really GREAT inventors? Are there any kid inventors too? Are there any weird laws in places and what's 1600 hours in military time? Well in the Book of Lists you will find out just about everything you need to know and even some fun extra stuff to impress your friends with. There are more than 250 incredible lists for you to explore. I totally loved this book because it made learning loads of fun! Besides, maybe some day these bizarre facts will need to be learned! This Book of Lists would be best suited for kids age 9 and up because some words could be hard to pronounce and some might not understand everything. The only bad thing is, you might run into a page that's not your cup of tea-but I doubt it. I really enjoyed telling my little sister that if she lived in China her birth animal would be a rat! There are so many cool things in this book that I could go on forever about it, but the Colorado Kids section isn't big enough. (Believe me-- it's really AWSOME!) This is defiantly a book worthy of your bookshelf! (July, 2003)
