The Care & Keeping of METitle: The Care & Keeping of ME, The Body Book Journal
American Girl Library
Illustrator: Norm Bendell
Publisher: Pleasant Company
Number of Pages: 98 Pages

This book is a journal made for girls. This journal is different from a diary because it is a special book that you can write your feelings and thoughts in but a diary is more of a daily record of your life. You can be serious or creative and write poems or you can be funny, happy, or anything you feel like in this journal. This book had pages that you could write on
about school, friends, your body, foods, hair, goals, wishes, dreams, and well, just about everything. I enjoyed this book because it's like a diary that you can write in about different subjects. It really helped me to get to know myself better. I liked the colorful pictures and drawings. I liked filling out the calendars, checklists and questions about my life. My favorite part was the You're the Expert section where you answer letters from people who have problems and give them advice. I recommend this book for kids ages 10-13. I think it might be kind of fun to keep this book and look at it when I'm 60 years old and see what I was like when I was 10 years old!
