"Vote for Moon! Vote for Moon," the crowds roared. The book, The Kid Who Ran For President, is a funny, silly book. One day, Judson Moon was over at his friend's house, Lane Brainard, when Lane thought up of a strange idea. "You know who should be running this country, Moon?" Lane said, " A kid."

This is a story on how Judson Moon runs for president. Lane helps him with everything about running for president, from writing his speeches, to what he should name his pet to make him be the winner.

Since there is a sequel, Judson must become president, but in a strange way. The Kid Who Became President is just as wonderfully written as the first. Judson doesn't realize what goes into being a president; but he soon learns that being president isn't all fun and games!

The books were so hilarious, I couldn't put it down; it is a nice, quick read because of the humor. There is nothing that I could say bad about this book. I would recommend this novel because it is enjoyable fiction and it gives a bunch of presidential facts. This book is best from about 4th grade to 7th grade.

With all of the suspension we have had with George W. Bush and Al Gore, these books will keep you occupied through it all! (December, 2000)
