Can you really hear a shout in space? If you like science, the books in Scholastic's Question and Answer series are for you!

Can You Hear A Shout In Space is a science book that is very interesting, but also lots of fun to read. Who was the first women to go into space? Who was the first person on the moon? When did the first person reach the moon? How do astronauts go to the bathroom, shower, and comb their hair while in space? Find these answers and much more too!

I think the pictures in the book are great and really connect to the questions. The book is divided into four sections: Steps Into Space, Living In Space, The Uses of Space, and The Future In Space. Each section is filled with the coolest questions and answers you have always wondered about.

I would recommend this book to kids ages 8 - 13. Other books in the series that are excellent are What Makes An Ocean Wave? and Why Do Wolves Howl? There are many other titles in the series that sound interesting too. All of these books are packed with facts that could be used for school reports or to just impress your teachers! (July, 2001)
