Mr. Morton's 3rd grade class has to go to the basement of Sleepy Hollow Elementary School and as the legend goes there are ghosts down there. Cassidy, Nina and Jeff have to do a report on their school history. It is up to them to show the teacher there are really ghosts in the basement.

I think this book was exciting but needs more description. Ages 8 and up would really enjoy this book. Harry Potter is a similar book. This book I would tell my friends to read because it is exciting and funny.

The characters were Mr. Morton (3rd grade class teacher), the custodian and the principal. I liked Cassidy because she was brave, the custodian because she helps animals and Nina, because she was funny. Mr. Morton was really strict. The principal was very nice. (December, 2003)
