Long Pond Cay is a place of magic for 12 year old Trey and 7 year old Lou. They love to visit it and play on it's shores. Soon, their place of peace is no longer Long Pond Cay but is Sapphire Island Resorts. As the cay
is being transformed the two boys visit it for the last time. All of a sudden, their magical place has disappeared and they are in another world.
Trey is surprised to find out that Lou, his silent brother, is hailed as a
bringer of help and renewal. What will become of Trey and Lou in this alien world? What will become of Long Pond Cay?

I guess you'll just have to read Green Boy and find out yourself. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to ages 12-16. It had a great storyline but was kind of hard to follow and had a confusing ending. Another book I would recommend to anyone looking for fun and adventure is Spellfall, by Katherine Roberts.
