Tie back the covers of this book and discover the wonderful world of magic, Hogwarts and Harry Potter. I don't know about you, but I am personally a huge fan of Harry Potter and was thrilled to see this book. This book contains a wonderfully illustrated view of the magical world of Harry Potter as never seen by Muggle (non-wizard) eyes before. This book is a pop-up carousel view of life behind Hogwarts walls. Some of my favorite scenes include the library (complete with Restricted Section), Snape's Dungeon (Ooh, Scary!) and Dumbledore's Office(The way he rolls his eyes around is too funny.) This charming book also includes pull tabs, and decorations to make it look more "realistic". Oh, and did I forget to mention the pop-out characters, (Harry Potter, Ron Weasly, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape, Quirrell and Minerva McGonagall) and items (Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, a Nimbus Two Thousand, an Hourglass and The Sorting Hat) that help you make your pop-up world come alive with magic, movement and fun. This book is an essential for any true Harry Potter lover, and just plain fun for anyone else.

I would recommend this book to anyone, especially Harry Potter fans because my sister (age six) thought it was just plain cool (the pop-ups) and my parents who have read the books like how detailed it was. If you like this book I recommend reading the Harry Potter books by J.K Rowling if you haven't already. (November 15, 2001)
