Bub MooseTitle: Bub Moose
Author: Carol and Bill Wallace
Illustrator: John Steven Gurney
Publisher: Pocket Books
# of pages: 115

Bub Moose is a very curious baby moose. In Bub's forest, there are many different kinds of animals, and Bub wants to meet them all. His mother warns him to stay away from people. He wonders about them until one day when his mother takes him to the edge of a cliff to see them. They return to the forest, but Bub wants to see the people closer. He convinces his mother to take him back to the cliff. There he meets a young wolf. Then the adventure begins.

This book is very descriptive, and it is all told from the point of view of Bub. But it was kind of boring, and had hardly any plot. It was an easy read, and I would recommend it for six to eight or nine year olds. It has a lot of information on moose, and is cute. I enjoyed Bub Moose, and I hope you will too. (November, 2001)
