Watch out world, and get ready for Gaby! A Crazy Mixed Up Spanglish Day is a superb book. It's about this girl named Gabi and she's mixing up Spanish words and English words which make Spanglish words. Not only having trouble with that, she is also having trouble with a boy in class. He makes her so mad that she kicks him with her red boots. Here comes more trouble! Mr. Fine, her teacher sees her kick that boy and she's not allowed to wear her favorite red boots to school. That stinks! Here's something to make her day worse: Gabi gets paired up in class with the classmates she hates. The boy that was picking on her before is still picking on her. Will Gabi unmix her Spanglish words and conquer the evil of her class mates or will she wind up in detention?

I liked this book so much. It helped me with my Spanish and English skills not to mention it taught me to behave in class. I really didn't dislike anything in this book. This book was wonderful I would give it ten out of ten stars. I would recommend this book to ages eight and up because you need how to know how to read pretty good before you try to read this book. But all you little kids out there, when you get older this will be a great book to read. This book was a good book or should I say it was a bueno book, so you should check it out. (May, 2003)
